Our beliefs are rooted in the truth of God's Word and shape how we live, worship and serve as followers of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible, comprising the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, true and trustworthy, and the final authority for faith and life.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, equal in divinity and united in essence.
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and will return in glory.
We believe salvation is by God's grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ, and not by our own works.
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, brings new birth, dwells in every believer and equips the Church with gifts for worship, service and witness.
We believe in the baptism of believers by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ. We celebrate the Lord's Supper in remembrance of His death until He returns.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in discipleship, care for one another and share the Gospel through word and action. We express this locally through our pathway of Connect, Belong, Serve and Grow.
We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, instituted by God, and that the family is a gift from God to be honoured and nurtured.
Being part of City for Christ is more than Sunday attendance—it's about finding your place in God's family and living out your faith together. Serve, grow, connect, and make a difference as we follow Jesus in community.
